Add that up. Columbus Wedding Photography

Lauren and Zak. Married.

They met in calculus class back in High School. And now they are husband and wife. Add that up.

Red heels and sparkling earrings were the perfect accents to Lauren’s gorgeous gown.
Check out the ornate belt that finished her dress. It looked amazing!
The straps gave these shoes a classic touch.Lauren was a beautiful bride. Her bridesmaids couldn’t help but snap some shots too. She was SOOOO ready for her “First Look” with Zak.Happy couple is an understatement. They were on cloud nine.

It was a gorgeous day for pictures in German Village. This is a very sentimental area for them, as they used to live down here.So fun and romantic! You could just feel the deepness of their love.I’m loving Lauren’s red bouquet and red nails.
She looked so elegant.Zak made a handsome, happy groom.Happy feet!
Lauren’s two sisters were in the wedding along with several close friends.  All the bridesmaids looked beautiful in their scarlet and grey. Go Bucks! The bridal party. Smiling. Laughing. Pictures are fun!
This was totally their idea.  Can we play hide and seek? Um….YES, please!  One of the groomsmen scaled the tree. If you look closely, you can see more bridesmaids and groomsmen peeking out.Lauren and Zak getting some help from the bridal party for a special kiss.
Their guestbook was one of a kind. It included pictures from the engagement session.

The hustle and bustle right before the she walks down the aisle.

Zak’s expression is priceless! The centerpieces were so unique.  They were created from wooden logs by Zak’s father. The guest favors were wine stoppers to match the elegant leaf theme.  The cupcakes had leaves on them with Z&L it all matched the cute graphic monogram.  Oh, and guess what?  The cupcakes were confetti cake!  The table numbers had little stories and fun facts about the couple. It’s time to put your dancing boots on!!!
Such a proud Daddy.Glow sticks were passed around.  These was a HUGE HIT!  People were quite creative in choosing the location for their glow stick.  I’ll leave that for your imagination…  The Loft is an old warehouse that was converted into this lovely, quaint event location.  Perfect for their perfect day.
Fun foto booth.  This guy on the left CRACKS ME UP!
Some behind the scenes with Crystal Jo Foto. Papa, papa, paparazzi. This was Tonia’s first time assisting at a wedding.  She did AWESOME!Photobombing the foto booth.Run Forrest, Run!Gettin-r-done.

their memories…

What was the most memorable part of the day?
Bride: Standing under the “arbor” alter staring into Zak’s eyes and realizing that he is stuck with me for the rest of his life.  Also, dancing the night away with all our friends and family.
Groom: The part of the day I will cherish forever is, of course, the moment when Lauren’s dad joined our hands and we walked up together.

What was your favorite detail?
Bride:
Our log center pieces Zak’s dad made.  His dad cut down a dead tree from our back yard, cut it into smaller logs and drilled three holes to hold votive candles.  They looked great and now we are using them as decorations for our house.
Groom: Each table had a different “fun fact” on the table number. Definitely a few gems in there!

Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Bride: Eat! Drink! Dance! And enjoy the party that’s all about you!
Groom: Take as much help from your family as they offer. You will need it!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Bride: Have the party last longer! It was a blast. Oh, and eat one of our cupcakes…neither of us ate one.
Groom: I would not change a thing…except helping some of my friends watch their alcohol intake. 😉

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Bride: We took an east coast road trip.  We started our trip at Niagara Falls, then onto Boston, Martha’s Vineyard and finally Philadelphia. I knew I picked the right husband because he drove the WHOLE way!
Groom: We went on a awesome 7-day road trip to many different places including Boston and Martha’s Vineyard.

How was you experience with Crystal Jo?  And if you can think of a favorite moment/thing with Crystal Jo?  🙂
Bride: Crystal Jo was Amazing! Crystal Jo and her assistants were organized, creative and FUN. We did a first look session in German Village and had a blast during our photo session.  We also loved the photo both during the reception.  Our guests let loose with the props and I can’t wait to see the pictures!
Groom: Crystal Jo was amazing. She’s super creative and a natural talent. We are so happy we decided to work with her. And we are extremely well practiced at our ABCs now as a bonus!
