A few fun facts about this awesome family…

Greg and I met in middle school. He liked my friend and we were talking to him through a bus window. We didn’t actually get together until I was living in Maryland and he was in Columbus, Ohio. But- there is a VERY LONG story in between middle school and high school. Basically I was in the band and he was the homecoming king. Oh how the times have changed…. we have been married 10 years. We now have Kyle, age 7, Connor, age 5 and Sparky the dog age CRAZY- I mean 7 months.
What inspired the wedding themed pictures?  We LOVED our wedding, it was so much fun and I absolutely loved my dress. This was a great excuse to put it back on! And, allegedly, I am a Real Housewives fan and I may or may not have been inspired by Kristen of RHNYC who wore her dress to her 10 year anniversary party this past season. I  also thought it would be so cute to see the kids in tuxes and of course what husband doesn’t look cute in a tux?!  Greg  was really sweet and went along with the idea. This was the first time we have had a professional shoot as a family. I felt it was a bonding experience, even though the kids got crazy towards the end. Crystal Jo made everyone very comfortable and wasn’t phased by 2 crazy boys. I think it was a fantastic gift to ourselves and a great way to commemorate 10 years of memories.
Connor said if he could be anyone for one day he would be an elf for the day and give people candy. Kyle said he would be Ezekiel Elliott because he is strong and plays football. If Connor had $100 he would “order online” the Haunted Scooby Doo Mansion set. If Kyle had $100 he would buy Beats by Dre headphones. Connor’s perfect weekend is buying toys then he added “I wish Mom could buy me every toy.” Kyle said his perfect weekend would be meeting the Buckeyes. Connor said he is more like his dad “because he looks handsome like me.” Kyle said he is like his mom because he looks like his mom, but he feels that “Kyle is like Kyle, and Kyle is not like anyone else”. Connor said his favorite part about Crystal Jo was that she let him take pictures with her camera and Kyle said ” I LIKE HER PURPLE HAIR!”.

Oh my gosh, Crystal, these are so amazing and so wonderful and so beautiful and so fun!!!!! Michelle’s 10th anniversary idea brought back many wonderful memories of their beautiful wedding. The boys and Greg are as handsome as she is beautiful. You were so patient with the boys and the dog and the gramma who was worried about the boys and the dog. Your professioanal photography is truly precious. I still love your Santa on top of your beautiful home. Cathy Russell, the Gramma
