Maria, you have the exact same mannerisms as your mother.  Even your voices sound the same!  Look at your mouths here.  SAME, SAME!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Maria: Standing in the woods, all dressed up, alone, anticipating the arrival of my groom for the first look. It was peaceful, yet one of the most exciting moments of my life, and I was so full of emotion, I tried to soak it all in. And when I turned around to see Jordan, I was filled with joy that I was marrying him. He was so handsome, and I couldn’t believe that the day had finally arrived.
Jordan: The most memorable moment for me was the first look. Seeing her standing in the woods near Jefferson Park, her cream colored dress a stark contrast to the greens and browns around her. As she turned to meet me, I couldn’t help but be taken back by how beautiful she looked. It made me forget all the stresses we’d experienced in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and remember why we were there.
What was your favorite detail?
Maria: There were so many great details that day… Our family really helped to bring together a lot of beautiful and thoughtful details that totally helped to tie it all together. Our venue was gorgeous and romantic. Also, our wedding party looked so good!
Jordan: My dad worked very hard to cut and rough finish some of the wood accents for the tables, and I thought the escort card holders turned out really well. The Flowers for all of the wedding party turned out fantastic as well.
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Maria: First, if you can forgo tradition, do the first look! It was a wonderful and special moment for Jordan and I. Also it took away a lot of my pre-wedding jitters, it allowed us to get a lot of photos completed before the wedding, which in turn freed us up to join the cocktail hour after the ceremony- awesome! The other fun thing that one of our groomsmen, Mike, did was attach a go-pro to a bottle of whiskey, and encouraged a lot of the guests to take a swig- he edited the video and created some super fun memories for us 😉
Jordan: The wedding mania can really cause friction at times between you and your significant other. It’s worth trying to relax and remember why you chose to embark on this journey with them. After that, it’s just noise.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Maria: Nope, we had the most perfect wedding, and the whole time I couldn’t believe how wonderful, beautiful, and fun it was!  I guess if I could change something, it would be to figure out how to not stress so much leading up to the wedding…
Jordan: Nope, it turned out better than I could have dreamed.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Maria: We went to the gorgeous island of St Lucia and stayed at the Stonefield Resort- I would highly recommend it! We had a cute little cottage with a private pool overlooking the ocean and the Piton mountains. It was amazing & romantic, the perfect way to unwind after all the stress leading up to the wedding day.
Jordan: St Lucia. It was the perfect way to celebrate the occasion.
