We celebrated with cake. Notice the matching dress. This littles Momma took her dress to Capital City Cakes and they replicated the dress. So clever!

The Rowe Family just installed this BRAND NEW hardwood floor. It’s beautiful. And it was some treat trying to clean the cake out of the cracks. Oopsies. So worth it for these photos, right, Courtney?!

What is your favorite memory during her first year of life?
We are sure this is so typical but we can’t choose just one. We love to watch her play and discover new things. But overall it’s been amazing to see her fall in love with us just as much as we are in love with her. The way her eyes light up and she smiles when one of us comes home just melts our hearts over and over again.
Do you have a funny story or something that happened in her first year that you’d like to share?
One that sticks out in particular is when she was about 10 months old we were eating dinner and she was feeding the dogs her food. Chris pointed his finger at her and told her no. Clear as can be she looked right at him and pointed her finger and told him no in her sweet little baby voice.
What age/month has been your favorite and why?
I am sure every parent says this but each new stage is our favorite. It just keeps getting better and better.
