What is your favorite memory during Charlotte’s first 6 months?
Mom: When she rolled over for the first time. It was her first big milestone and I was so excited!
Dad: Bringing her home from the hospital and camping out in the living room.
What is your favorite thing that she does?
Mom: Whenever she giggles, especially when it’s a baby belly laugh
Dad: Waking her up each morning and seeing the smile on her face.
Now that she is a little bit mobile, how has this changed your life?
Mom: So long multi-tasking! One of us has to have an eye on her at all times which limits our ability to get much done around the house. She can army crawl with the best of them!
Dad: Not much but will soon. (Mom: Based on this response you might be able to guess who does most of the house work!)
One word to describe your baby is…
Mom: Analytical … haha okay that ones a little bit of an inside joke!
Dad: Adorable
What is your child’s favorites…
Animal: Mom – our dog Toby … but I also think she has a thing for giraffes
Dad – giraffe
Food: Mom – Charlotte loves all foods so far! Sweet potatoes, apples, bananas & peanut butter, avocado … she’s even a fan of parsnips & peas. Who knew?!
Dad – avocado

How was your experience with Crystal Jo?
Hot!!! We’re 2 for 2 with 90+ degree weather during our July photo shoots! But regardless, there’s no one else I’d rather have helping us capture all our family memories! Thanks for always sweatin’ it out with us!

What is your favorite memory during your child’s first year of life? Finding out gender when she was born, Adeline meeting her at the hospital, Columbus Zoo trip for her first birthday.
What age/month has been your favorite and why? 10 mths to now because she started walking at 10 mths. It has been a blast watching her try to do everything her sister does now.
One word to describe your baby is…fun!

Oh my. This is tough. I think just seeing how our family has come together and grown over the course of the year.
Do you have a funny story or something that happened in her first year that you’d like to share?
My older two adjusted well to the baby overall, but would fight with each other over every little thing. So when they would ask why Maggie was crying I would tell them, “Maggie is sad that you are yelling at each other” or “Maggie is upset that you are not doing what Mommy asked.” It seems silly, but it worked!
What age/month has been your favorite and why?
I have especially liked 9 months and up. Maggie could finally eat table food more and was ecstatic. She loved eating as long as it was what we were having.
One word to describe your baby is…
Chill. For the most part Maggie is super happy and laid back. Definitely a third child vibe going on here.
What is your child’s favorites…
Food: Spaghetti (also a newfound love of cake)
Toy: Anything that talks or plays music
Song or Book: We sing Goodnight Sweetheart every night as we put her to sleep. She likes the song but doesn’t always want to hear it because she does not want to go to bed.
