Do you have a funny story or something that happened in his first year that you’d like to share?
It wasn’t funny at the time, to me (my wife thought it was hilarious) but at about 5 months old, I was holding him, with his face close to mine…he looked at me and smiled really big….just as I opened my mouth to say something, he projectile vomited into my mouth.

Nick and I met during our senior year at Ohio State. We were both taking Theater to meet a general curriculum requirement. If it wasn’t for him, I would have failed!! We’ve been married for 12 years and have lived all around the US. We have 4 kids, Lauren-6, Harper-2 1/2, and 4 month old twin boys, William and Graham and our dog Jack.
Do you have any hidden talents or something unique to you?

Tell us a little about your family dynamic. How you met your husband, how long you’ve been married, names and ages of the children.
David and I met working at Drustar Pharmacy together in 1975 (or was it 74?) We got married in August of 1977 – 39 years! Our children are Tara (32) and Brent (37).
Do you have any hidden talents or something unique to you? No hidden talents, but I do love to bake! If you could be any person for one day, who would it be?
Patti – That’s a tough one! No one in particular but someone very rich so for that one day I could go crazy buying stuff!
David – I can roll my tongue and – Einstein…so I could understand the space-time continuum
Landon – I can do a round off
Cole – I can arm wrestle and win sometimes
What’s one thing you want to learn to do?
Patti- I would love to learn to make fancy wedding cakes.
David- I’d like to learn how to be a successful day trader
Landon – my friend, Slayder because he can catch a football and I can’t.
Cole – my friend Skyler because he is tall and he can catch and make touchdowns.

Patti – Planning nothing, but things just fall into place and it turns into a great weekend. It could be a movie, lunch, or just shopping, spending time with family or whatever!
David – My perfect weekend is a shopping spree at Easton with my lovely wife and then a movie….ahhhh again

What is your favorite memory during your child’s first year of life?
Oh there are soooo many wonderful memories of Liam’s first year! Watching your child learn, change and grow within that year is amazing. His sweet smiles and huge personality definitely melts our hearts! Also, the way he watches his big sister and already looks up to her is so special! They have such a loving, sweet bond. One unique cute thing we will always remember about Liam is his funny sweet silly faces he loves doing, it makes us all laugh every time.
Do you have a funny story or something that happened in her first year that you’d like to share?
Well with kids there is never a dull moment, and there are always funny stories to share! One story in particular that comes to mind is one afternoon when Liam was a few months old I happened to being changing his poopy diaper, and his big sister, who had just turned 2, was “helping me.” I got up to throw the diaper away but didn’t get the dirty wipe picked up yet, and as I was turning back around, his big sister had taken the dirty wipe, which was used on his bottom to now wipe it on his face. Poor little guy……
What age/month has been your favorite and why?
Now is actually such a fun time. His personality is shining through more than ever. He is so playful, interactive and so full of giggles. He gives the sweetest open mouth slobbery kisses, which is definitely a favorite of mine:) He couldn’t be any sweeter, we all just love him to pieces:)
One word to describe your baby is… Lovable

Food: Loves to eat, he is a good eater. Definitely loves berries though

A few fun facts about these soon-to-be parents..
How did you find out you were expecting?
We had a hunch while on a mini trip to Boston. But waited until we were back in town to confirm. I woke Clint up around 4am one morning with the exciting news!
What’s your favorite thing about being pregnant? Least favorite?
Favorite – pregnancy jeans!
Least – the beating my hips take at night from sleeping on my side!
Did you find out your baby’s gender?
We are not finding out the gender. Initially Clint wanted to know, but quickly realized I would drive him crazy if he knew and I didn’t! It’s a lot of fun having everyone guess.
Is there a nursery or shower theme you’d like to share?
We are going pretty simple. The nursery is gray and will have a few baby animal prints from The Animal Print Shop.
A baby is coming! What are you looking forward to the most?
Finding out what kind of parents we will be. Watching Clint with his nieces and nephews makes me super excited to see him as a dad.
How did you find Crystal Jo?
Crystal Jo was our wedding photographer last year and we loved her!! (yes we didn’t waste anytime getting pregnant!)

Rik and I have been together 13 years and married for 7 (on Halloween). We starting dating our Sophomore year at Otterbein College. We have 2 beautiful girls: Samantha (3) and Abigail (1.5), who keep us busy!
Do you have any hidden talents or something unique to you?
Kristen: I had a hard time with this one, I guess I don’t have any hidden/unique talents!
Rik: I swing a baseball bat left-handed but golf right-handed.
If you could be any person for one day, who would it be?
Kristen: Samantha! I would love the see the world through her eyes.
Rik: Me! I have a beautiful wife and perfect children. (Kristen: he must want something!!)
