The Walkers walk down the aisle..together.

Justin and Raewin.  Oh, such beautiful people…both inside and out.  I cannot say this enough…they are AWESOME!   If you remember a couple of months ago, I had a fun Engagement Session with them.  Robin, the Groom’s mother, is a great friend of mine from my other job(Chase).  She looked BEAUTIFUL with her darling dress and her hair all DID.  Hehe.  She was so proud watching her son marry the woman of his dreams.  This is something that really hits home for me.  You ever get that feeling that your parents are just watching you with their proud parent eyes?  Doesn’t matter what you are doing… talking to a friend, checking out at the store, making your plate for dinner…you can feel it.  It’s like a heat wave.  I feel my momma doing this all the time.  She knows I know.  She can feel it.  Well, at weddings, I feel this strong “proud parent heat wave” ALL day.  I love to turn my camera to the parents and catch that look.  The message, the look, the expression – to catch this in a photograph is priceless.   I caught Robin’s heat wave that day.  And she knows it.
Back to Justin and Raewin.  🙂  They had the most beautiful September wedding.  The wedding was adorned with pink and browns…pink flowers and brown twigs.  Twigs, you ask?  Yes, and it was cool!  Like, sticks.  Everywhere.   It was almost the end of the reception and I went to the front of the hall to take some detail shots of the guest book, some more twigs, the seating chart, the flowers, the cool mailbox for the guests envelopes, twigs and so on.  While shooting the seating chart, I was looking for the Bride’s parents name to focus on..  “Heisel”, “Heisel”, where is it? OH MY, what did I see…Crystal Jo Holt Table 12!  I had a spot..for me!  I ran over to table twelve to find my very own place setting, with my very own wedding favor.  How honored was I?!  Told you they were AWESOME.   Congrats to this honored couple!  I hope you feel that proud parent heat wave forever!

Whether they are here or there, their {Weatherheads} together

Oh, such a wonderful day for Kim and Jim.  They got married in Waldo, Ohio at All Occasions.  Shortly before the ceremony, it started raining so the vows were made under the tent at the bottom of the hill near the gazebo.  It was so lovely.  Rain or shine, the bride and groom were all smiles and calm as could be!  After the ceremony, the sun came out and we were able to grab some awesome shots by the corn field.  I loved the shades of purple and all the lovely touches at the reception..including the all purple candy table!!  140

Congrats to the Weatherheads!

Two Buckeyes are {OH} so married!

Gee. The Sweet Garcias. Buckeye Fans/Alumni through and through. They got married at The Ohio State Ampitheather and had the reception at the Faculty Club. Adorned with touches of scarlet and grey, the reception hall was full of love and laughter. The cake topper had the bride’s hand on the groom’s behind and the guest favors were a donation to the cancer society. The ceremony was my favorite part of the day. Tiffany fell in love with some ideas I had from my wedding day. She was able to incorporate her own touches and touched I was! The couple chose the hand ceremony and the tying of the knot where the mothers wrapped their hands with a scarlet love knot. After the ceremony, in the middle of the outdoor ampitheater, the couple shared their first dance to the sounds of Somewhere over the Rainbow played by a beautiful String Trio. It was hard to keep from tearing up as I looked through the viewfinder. After the wedding, with bridal party in tote, we made our way over to The Shoe for some awesome OH-IO shots. At the reception, the Bride and her father broke out to Sweet Child of Mine..it was hilarious! What an awesome day.. Congrats Buckeyes!!

The tying of the knot.  001-13

{Marvelous} morning nuptials for David and Nancy

David and Nancy.  Married.  David is so funny and Nancy is so sweet.  Perfect compliment to each other.  They had beautiful morning nuptials in a Clintonville church Nancy has been attending for many many years.  Nancy’s son walked her down the aisle and her daughter stood beside her.  David’s brother traveled to the great state of Ohio stand by his side.  It was a sweet, sweet morning.  Thank you, Seymour’s! It was an honor being there to capture such an amazing day for the two of you.  Enjoy your journey together!

One Love {Manny and Brittanie}

Manny and Brittanie.  So in love.  You can just see it when they look at each other.  They musta said it 50 times 🙂  We had an awesome evening for their Engagement Session.  We went to Innis Woods Park in Westerville.  I took some senior pictures here last October when the leaves were bright colors.  This is the first time I’ve been here with a couple, and the first time I’ve seen so many beautiful flowers and cool little spots for some cool little shots.  Manny and Brittanie will wed in December..shortly before Christmas.  So excited to be apart of their wintery warm day!  See ya soon!

Two Cutie Pa-tooties {Kellan and Ashton}

Kellan and Ashton.  Brother and Sister.  Cute and Loving.  So loving, they didn’t want me to leave after their photoshoot!  We had our fingers crossed when we started the shoot, as the area was covered with a big dark cloud.   We made our way around the backyard – the kids were so funny…they pointed out the spots they wanted their pictures taken..the pink flowers, the swingset, the bridge.  They posed and smiled and even little Kellan loved to cheese for the camera.   When I pulled Ashton aside to take some shots of her, Kellan was tugging at my leg waiting for his turn to get back in the spotlight.  It was OH SO cute!001-5

Sarah and Jeremiah – A Successful Hunt for Love

Sarah and Jeremiah Waugh.  She was a Wills until that beautiful August 1st day.  Sarah and I have known each other for a good ten plus years.  We went to school together.  Even then she was creative and spunky.  On her wedding day it really shined through!  Her sister, who stood beside her, wore a beautiful orange gown similar to the style of Sarah’s wedding dress.   Jeremiah’s father, who stood beside him, wore a tan suit and a big grin.  And guess who married the wonderful couple?  Their mothers.  Sarah and Jeremiah’s mothers both stood proud as they read the well scripted vows that rang true to the couples relationship…

Sarah, as your husband, I promise: To protect you, To make you laugh when you’re grumpy, To comfort you when you’re sad, To listen to your dreams and celebrate their achievement. I also promise never to try and stop you from taking the naps you love so much. I will love you every day of my life.

Jeremiah, as your wife, I promise: To protect you, To make you laugh when you’re grumpy, To comfort you when you’re sad, To listen to your dreams and celebrate their achievement. I also promise never to interfere with your love of hunting. I will love you every day of my life.

The colors were AWESOME!  Bright pink and orange were everywhere!  Oh, and the fluffy decorated cupcakes – they looked so cool under the huge white tent with glistening white lights.  The children played by the pond as the couples’ dog showed off for all – jumping and swimming in the water.  The guests carried home a CD with the Bride and Grooms’ favorite songs.  As the night grew later, the sparklers came out, the guests shared laughs, stories and Crown Royal. And to top off the great night – FIREWORKS!  Oh, what a fantastic evening!
