There are no words for this moment.  Tara and her father used to dance to this song when she was just a little girl.  This is when he realized she was playing THAT very song they played so many years ago. 031This is the groom’s parents cake cutting knife…from 1976.  Congrats on so many years, Karen and Steve.  And for raising a very handsome young man. 🙂032

033Just check out all of these wonderful details!

Fun facts about this special couple…

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Tara: I have so many that were extremely memorable! I don’t think I can pick just one, so I’ll narrow it down to two – One of the most memorable was seeing Scott on top of the Renaissance getting ready for our first look. I looked out and saw how handsome he looked and how much love I have for him. As soon as I saw him, my nerves vanished and it was a feeling of, “oh my goodness… I CANNOT wait to be his wife!! The second was seeing my Dad for the first time. We did a first look, just me and my Dad and it was amazing.

Scott: Besides seeing Tara for the first time in her beautiful dress, I specifically remember her turning the corner to come down the aisle.  That moment gave me chills, extreme joy and happiness.  It was the moment I was waiting for.

What was your favorite detail?

Tara: I loved the cake pops my Mom made for the favors. They were absolutely amazing, delicious and made with love 🙂 I also loved what we did for the table names, with photos to match!

Scott: Everything that took place inside the museum.  I have never been a part of a wedding there and everything was perfectly placed.  The ceremony with the skylight, the reception with the table toppers, cake pops, Barcelona for dinner.  I was so happy everything turned out perfect.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Tara: Take your time in the planning process and don’t rush it. We planned our wedding for 15 months and although, at the time seemed very long, it was worth it to have all of our plans go off without a hitch!

Scott: Take it all in that day! You don’t realize how fast it goes!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Tara: I wouldn’t. I thought everything was amazing!

Scott: I wouldn’t change anything either.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Cancun, Mexico – The Excellence Riviera Cancun. Definitely recommend this as a honeymoon destination!

How was your experience with Crystal Jo Foto?

Tara:  I don’t have enough good things to say about Crystal Jo. I have known her for quite some time and knew as soon as I got engaged, I would book her to document our wedding (she books up quick ladies and gents, so book her soon!) She has such an amazing talent, that is extremely hard to come by. The pictures I have seen so far, have exceed every expectation and then some! I would recommend her to anyone looking to document a special moment in their lives. I can’t wait to use her for other special moments that Scott and I have together. My favorite memory was her reassuring me during our pictures before the wedding. It unfortunately was raining, which honestly bummed me out a little. It must have been written all over my face in between photos beacuse she came up to me and said – “how are you doing, everything ok?” I mentioned the rain and she just looked and said – “it’s ok, I have great photos so far and it’s your wedding day!” I didn’t let the rain bother me anymore after that. Just the fact that she knew I needed a little boost, says a lot of this girl!

Crystal Jo:  So, Tara, I have to say… I could definitely  sense your anxiety when it was raining.  I REALLY wanted to put you at ease and let you know that we’ve GOT THIS, sister.  And just telling you that, it relaxed you.  You are so beautiful. To the future brides out there.. rain really will not ruin your wedding photos or your day.  Just breathe and go with it.  It really is about the two of you and nothing else.  XO, Tara, thank you for trusting me with your wedding photography.  Thank you for wanting me to document this day BEFORE you had ever even met Scott.  You’re adorable!
