Berry Beautiful. Columbus Model Photography

Hadley. Model.

Hadley has big beautiful brown eyes and a gorgeous smile. Berry Beautiful.  My session fave!
I love her exotic look.Hey Vogue, here comes Hadley!
She works at Hollister.  That would be so much fun, like a loud party… and you get to come home smelling so yummy!
Hadley, you are stunning, and your future in modeling is sure to busy and bright.

More on Hadley…

How long have you been modeling, and how did you get started?
I’ve only been modeling for a little over a year at Heyman. I actually started because a lot of people told me I should model, and I figured I had nothing to lose!

Do you have a favorite model?
I don’t have one model who is my absolute favorite, but I do admire all of the Victoria’s Secret models – they are flawless.

What makes modeling fun/rewarding?
Modeling has given me confidence in myself. I’ve always looked a little more ethnic compared to others I’m amongst at school and I used to feel self conscious about it. Modeling has taught me to embrace my characteristics and know that being different is actually interesting.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m Editor-In-Chief of my school paper and yearbook, so that keeps me very busy. With this responsibility, I  take photos at school functions as well as of my friends and family in my spare time. I like being able to document memories for others, whether it be printed in my school newspaper or hung on my family member’s wall.

How was your experience with Crystal Jo Foto?
Crystal Jo was such a gem! She made me feel very comfortable while shooting. Anytime she loved a photo, she’d show me, which made me feel good about myself and eager to continue on. She has such an amazing talent 🙂 Thanks you soooo much!

Unforgettable Business Card

Hi, I’m Tonia Kovach. In August, I was hired as an office assistant at Crystal Jo Foto. I love my job! Everyday is fun and different. I’m learning so much from Crystal Jo.

A few weeks ago, I saw the Columbus Dispatch was looking for the most unique, unforgettable business cards. I immediately thought of Crystal Jo Foto.

The first time Crystal Jo showed me her business card, I knew it was special. It’s the most colorful, distinctive, and fun business card I’ver ever seen, and every time I read the back, I can take your picture while STANDING ON MY HEAD, I smile. The statement sounds like fiction, but it’s true.I submitted the card without telling Crystal Jo in hopes that they would find it as catchy as I do.  They received over 4o cards and hers was one of six that was chosen. It’s featured in the Life and Entertainment section of today’s Columbus Dispatch. Here is the link.

…and here is the wonderful designer who helped create this special business card. I’m so proud to work with such a talented photographer, and I hope more people get to know Crystal Jo and her amazing work thanks to the Dispatch.

Probably hanging out and singing with my friends in choir class. That class was so much fun and my friends made it even better!!

What are your plans for post graduation?
I would like to go out of state for college, and I intend to major in psychology with a minor in marine biology.

The date is set for December 28th. Can you just imagine how exciting and busy Christmas is going to be this year?  This one is my session fave.  I just love the energy and love! Two hands. One heart.  Aww!And the ring is gorgeous! I can’t wait for your BIG day, Chelsie and Michael!

Wanna know more about this super couple?

When and where is your wedding?
Chelsie: December 28th at The Westin

How did you meet?
Chelsie: We are childhood friends. With match making mothers.
Mike: Some say that we met in the sandbox and others say it was at Thanksgiving.  Our parents are BFF’s and we were put in the sandbox together when we were younger and became good friends. 28 years later we decided it was in both of our best interest if we went steady.

Tell us about your proposal!
Chelsie: We got engaged on Michaels birthday because he knew it was the only way he would be able to surprise me!!
Mike: I asked her on my birthday in our apt because Chelsie had already planned out our day, and it was either do it then or at the Grocery Store.

What’s your favorite thing about your significant other?
Chelsie: My favorite thing about Michael is his patience! He has the patients of a saint!
Mike: She is funnier than anyone I have ever met.

What makes you guys unique?
Chelsie: What makes is unique is the friendship that we share.
Mike: Our story could be written that if (she/he) wont, (she/he) will. Our personalities are so far apart that we complement each other very well

How did you find Crystal Jo?
Chelsie: And we found wonderful you from Raewin!!
Mike: Chelsie had your number and sold me on the fact that you do not take pictures I would hate to be in.

(Bee-you-tee-ful party, Wamy. As always, we were blown away with your creativity and attention to detail. What a great Mommy. Fiona will love looking through these photos when she’s your age. Hopefully she carries your good-party-throwing skills. Xoxo.)

Fall Festivities.

I’ve been especially eager to fulfill another year of traditions and capture all these moments of my girl and her excitement.  So Jason took a much needed day off at the firm and we headed over to Circle S farm.

We enjoyed warm sugared donuts and what was supposed to be cider…which really was a juice box of apple juice.

We enjoyed Pixie running, without fear, through the hay bale maze.  A large sign read “Only enter if you are shorter than the bales.”  Daddy quickly ignored the sign and found his squat position to chase her through the caves.

We enjoyed lots of firsts for her.  First time on a hayride.  First time in a sunflower maze (as was it for us).  First time seeing a bunny rabbit.  She’s extremely mobile and her expressions and little voice just crack us up.  Life is just SO MUCH FUN!

I so enjoyed the crunching of the beautifully colored leaves as our cute boots walked toward the hayride.  Pixie thought she was hot stuff on a moving vehicle without a seatbelt.  I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her as she soaked in all of the excitement and different surroundings. Her very first hayride is one I will never forget!

How tall this fall?

She was a little timid in the hay.  I think it was the texture.  Isn’t it just adorable sticking to her boots?!  Yeah, I’m still finding that stuff around my house! She only went up to the big slide with Daddy holding her hand.  This place brought back so many memories from childhood.  Does anyone remember when the bale maze ran under the slides?  It’s not that way anymore.  Still very cool.  And, oh my, did it all seem SO MUCH BIGGER when we were so much smaller.  Good times.
Sunflower Maze!!!  I’ve never seen one of these and it was uber cool.
Ummmm…Wish waaa dew we go?
Dis waaaaa, fwends.

I hope everyone can get out and about.  Soak in the beautiful Autumn season.  Smell the mums and pick some pumpkins.  Happy Fall!
