Pixie Pie goes to the bookstore. Columbus Baby Photography

Pixie Pie goes to the bookstore.

She had a great time picking out books.  And slobbering on them.  🙂

I’ve been dreaming up this shoot since before Pix was born.  I wanted to do a newborn shoot with Pixie laying on one of the shelves.  My Auntie Ang (bookstore owner) and her daughter kept passing some nasty cold back and forth, preventing us from going when Pixie Pie was just born.

So here we have it.  A fabulous shoot of my little.  In a bookstore.  With lots of color and fun.

So she’s not a newborn.  Who says we still can’t put her on the shelf?  Under supervision, of course!
Check out a game made just for Pixie.  Gramia found it in an antique shop.
All of the little props came from her nursery.
LOVE this.  Little bubble and tutu.  My girl.
Yes, she is wearing a pink bracelet.  She’s my living doll.  Wanna play house?!

I just love the way she is looking up here.  Really, mom, really?!
I love the way she smells.

Our 3 Month Family Photo.  Thanks to my trustee tripod and Auntie Ang for pushing the shutter.  🙂

Being a model is exhausting! Sleepy time.  Sucking her little fingers so.

A special thank you to Ana (Light Girl) for your help with the first round of photos. She loved your tutu. And a HUGE thank you to Aunt Ang for letting us bombard your home. We love you SO very much!

Little football player. Columbus Newborn Photography

Gavin John. Newborn.

A new, fresh baby. Mmmmmmm. Love.

Kacy and Tim had a little baby boy. And, boy, is he perfection! He already has mommy and daddy wrapped around his little finger.

I gifted this newborn session to Kacy at her baby shower. Pretty awesome gift, huh?! (By the way, I offer gift cards if you’d like to give a session to a friend.) They came over to my house and Pixie Pie sat on the couch watching little Gavin snuggle and pose so well for the camera. We had a great time. He’s such a doll!

Little Sock Monkey.

Look at those little lips.

And toezers.

My fave. This is a blanket from his nursery. Love.

And check out this little football player! I’ve been dying to share this adorable little cocoon with y’all. It’s been waiting on little Gavin. Big Buckeye fans…gotta love it!

Welcome to the world little Gavin.  We love you!

Just hangin’ with my girl. Columbus Baby Photographer

I have dirty dishes to wash.

I have piles of laundry to sort through.

The bills are in a stack. They need stamps. Stamps are at the post office.

I don’t wanna do the dishes. I don’t wanna do the wash, nor do I wanna drive to the post office.

Why would I when I have this amazing little person to stare at all day….

(By the way…some of these are blurry, I know. If any of you have seen my camera you know it’s a BEAST. And I was shooting these holding the camera over my right shoulder. Just firing away. And it’s my daughter…so it’s okay if they’re blurry..I still LOVE them!)

Mommy is HILARIOUS!

This might be my fave.

Oh, those are my feet.

Big slobber. She has to wear a bib 24/7 due to this overflow of spit she has. Spit I love!

Big yawn.

Okay, Mommy. Enough with that big black thing in my face.

That Gym, Those People

My gym.. That Gym on Grandview, asked me to do a shoot for their upcoming competitors.  Well, duh.  Yes, I will!

These guys have trained for months and months.  Dieting, training and having more discipline than I could ever imagine.  And boy, oh boy did that training pay off!   They’ve got some rockin’ hard bodies.  And some big hearts to go with them!

Ashley, the best personal trainer in THE world, in the front, in the red.  Yes, she’s proud!

I totally had to post this. Demi, oh Demi. She’s a brave one. It was like 25 degrees out. She was all for it too. All you need is CONFIDENCE and this body to do this…

(oh…and to mention..she had a baby not too long ago!)

..and her back!

Jason came to help me. And Bill is his workout buddy early in the morning so of course they needed a picture together!

And Pixie brought her shoes for Demi to borrow.

Always fun at That Gym!

Good luck this weekend peeps. You guys are gonna ROCK!!

Green beer and green MILK!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ya! A day to celebrate all things GREEN.

Pixie’s first St. Patty’s Day. And oh what fun we had!

My lil’ Leprechaun. She’s a precious pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Too cute to pinch!

Green beer…

and green MILK!
(Don’t freak out Mom, she didn’t really drink it.)

And a St. Patrick’s Day tradition…hanging with The Seese’s. Here is Fiona in her green. So cute!

And the after party. Oh, how life has changed!

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? Columbus Baby Photographer

Pixie Pie. Two months big.

I’ve been dreaming of this shoot for quite awhile. Cookies. Lots of them. My baby girl and a cookie jar. Here’s what we got…

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?

Who me?

Couldn’t be.

Then who?

Pixie!

A great friend of mine, Ana of Ana Justine Photography came over to help with the shoot. And I’m so thankful she did because Pixie was in rare form. Wanting to be held ALL the time. As soon as we’d lay her down…WAAAAAAH. I couldn’t have done this alone! Thank you Light Girl!

And a fun collage…

Lucky Laney. Columbus Baby Photography

Delaney.  Three months big.

She’s a doll.  And I think she knows it!  If not, her momma and I told her over and over and over again.

Lucky Laney got all dressed up for St. Patrick’s Day.

Look at her cute little bum.

Oh, how I love these…

Miss Mansfield is center stage. Columbus pageant photography

Ashley. Miss Mansfield.

She’s beautiful, and lovely and intelligent, and, really…the WHOLE package! I can’t say enough nice things about this little lady. She’ll be trying for the title of Miss Ohio in June. We headed to the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield to get some beautiful photos of Ashley for advertising and programs. This place was AWESOME! So much character. Around every corner there was an awesome place to shoot. A dream for any photographer. And a dream for anyone trying for Miss Ohio as this is the exact stage Ashley will be walking across in these gorgeous gowns. Good Luck Miss Mansfield!

Having some fun backstage.

Do you see the mannequin? She gets her photo taken all the time by many who visit backstage. There was pictures of her with lots of Miss Ohio contestants hanging on the wall. She scared the jeebies out of me a couple of times!

Wowzers!

Love these!

Look what the stork brought in. Columbus Newborn Photography

Chanden.  Newborn.

Yummy newborn perfection!

Just a little itty bitty five pounder.  This is the first newborn I’ve seen since my little girl was born December 23rd.  And I have to be honest, it was so remarkable holding this little one.  It brought back so many wonderful memories of holding my little girl when she was only a week old.  So little.  So sleepy.  So fragile.  Amazing, really.  I loved every second of it and didn’t want to let go of Chanden.  Trying to remember the feeling of holding such a small miracle.  It was really only two and a half months ago but the memories and feelings of becoming a mommy are oh-so overwhelming.  Holding little Chanden really brought all of this emotion back.  Mmmm, love it.

This picture will be really cool later in life when Chanden holds this little bear. The bear is sooo tiny. Look, he’s just hugging him so tightly.

Love his little lips.
Feeling so comfortable in mommy and daddy’s hands.

A handmade hat from his momma’s friend.

My fave. Look what the stork brought in…

Welcome to the world Chanden Scott!

Eli the flirt. Columbus Baby Photographer

Eli. Nine months big.

Eli is such a ham and he’s getting sooo big. Love his bright blue eyes and big flirty smile.

Hehe. Lil’ stinker.

Eli loves to flirt with the camera. Look at that grin!

He likes to suck on his bottom lip. How cute.

He’s almost walking!

Go Bucks!

Chuckie (Eli’s grandpa) and I used to work together at Chase. He held Pixie the entire session. She loved him!

Pixie Pie and Eli meet for the first time. Eli brought Pixie a gift. Sophie the giraffe. I think they are already in love. 🙂

We will see you at your first birthday Eli! Thank you very much for Sophie the giraffe. Big hugs.
