Logan. Newborn.
New big brother learning his little brothers face.
Swwwwwooooon! I love this
Tell us about that first moment when you saw your baby.
It was surreal. We waited to find out the sex so the moment we saw him was just beautiful. Greg excitedly announced that it was a boy and the tears started flowing as they placed our Logan Michael on my chest.
His birthday is extra special to us as well. We started dating on August 28th seven years ago. We never could have images that our date to the clippers game would have led us to where we are today!
What was your baby’s birth weight and length? He weighed 9lbs 14.4 oz and is 20.5” long
Is there a story behind your baby’s name? Logan was a name that we both agreed on. His middle name, Michael, is after daddy’s middle name. Also, a few weeks before he was born, we went to the zoo and fed a giraffe named Logan. We took it as a sign 🙂
Give us the scoop. What has surprised you the most about parenthood? Are there any funny stories or firsts that you’d like to share? The night before I was induced I got super emotional thinking about how Parker wouldn’t be the baby after tomorrow. He may not be our youngest baby anymore but he has turned into the best big brother and our hearts are so full!
Parker surprises us everyday! His imagination is pretty amazing! He is always “making” us treats or “driving” somewhere on an adventure. We hope our boys are always this fun and creative!
What did you like best about your experience with Crystal Jo? We love working with Crystal Jo! She has captured all of our most important milestones engagement , marriage, maternity and our children. She is so patient and talented. We know that more than ever now. She was able to beautifully capture our family while working with a toddler and a new born!
Rizor. 1 Year.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!
What is your favorite memory during your child’s first year of life?
Mommy’s favorite memory ~Rizor is such a blessing! He has filled our hearts with so much joy and love & is such a happy baby! My favorite memory, although difficult to choose, is him saying “mom!” & giving me a hug & a kiss for the first time! Hearing him say “mom/mama” & his sweet hugs & kisses is one of the best feelings in the whole world!
Daddy’s favorite memory~Taking Rizor for a ride on the tractor for the first time. He belly laughed when I put headphones on him. When we got on the tractor, he was on my lap and went right for the steering wheel to drive around.
Do you have a funny story or something that happened in his first year that you’d like to share?
~Rizor learns words quickly. Once he learns a word, he says it often for a good week or so. One of his first words was “sh*t,” shout out to Daddy & Aunt Hay. He used this word quite appropriately at times. Thankfully this never slipped while we were in public or at church!!
What age/month has been your favorite and why?
~Rizor has a big personality, such a sweet, ornery little boy! It’s been a wonderful adventure but we would have to say once he turned 10 months old, to the day, and began walking has been our favorite! He learns something new every single day. New words and new ways to play and is so curious and observant!
One word to describe your baby is…
~Amazing
What is your child’s favorites…
Animal: doggies & kitties!
Food: Cheese, peaches & peanut butter
Toy: His wagon, blue Mickey Mouse & books
Song or Book: “Can’t Stop the Feeling” by Justin Timberlake and “Hot Dog!”- Mickey Mouse. Rizor loves books and being read to, but his favorite is probably his learning animal’s book!

How did you find out you were expecting
We had just moved and it was the holidays. Things were a chaotic to say the least. Greg is the one that said “hey, do you think you could be pregnant?” The next morning I woke up and didn’t feel so good. He was right!
What’s your favorite thing about being pregnant? Least favorite?
Feeling the baby move is an indescribable experience. It’s so beautiful. I haven’t been sleeping well so that’s been tough especially with a toddler to run after:
Did you find out your baby’s gender? No! Everything was so chaotic with the move in the beginning so we decided to wait. It hasn’t been hard until recently. Now we can’t wait to find out!
Is there a nursery or shower theme you’d like to share? No theme yet. The walls are a blue green color and we will add navy for a boy or floral for a girl.
A baby is coming! What are you looking forward to the most?
Finding out the gender!! Will Parker have a baby sister or brother?
How did you find Crystal Jo?
She was a referral from a friend. She has captured our engagement, wedding and now both of our children!
Hugh. 6 Months Big.
Seriously. He’s a heartbreaker, Molly!
McCarley Twins. 7 Months Big.
How gorgeous is this family?!?
Oh, the faces!

Luke. Newborn
What does the fox say?!
Luke Skywalker.
The cutest little Jedi!
Tell us about that first moment when you saw your baby.
The first moment we saw our baby: for me I felt relieved that the labor was over! I cried with excitement that we finally got to meet our new baby boy. For dad: he felt that he would do anything he could to protect him.
What was your baby’s birth weight and length?
Baby weighed 6lbs, 5oz. He was 16.25 inches long.
The story behind the baby’s name: my husband and I really liked the name Luca but didn’t like how it sounded with our last name so we settled in Luke. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan so I’d say he wanted the name Luke for that reason!
Give us the scoop. What has surprised you the most about parenthood? Are there any funny stories or firsts that you’d like to share?
Parenthood is so rewarding but so hard at the same time! We never knew we could love someone so much. A funny first: when in the hospital my husband and I went to change Luke’s diaper and Luke pee’d and pooped on us! We went through 3 diapers before he finally stopped!
What did you like best about your experience with Crystal Jo?
Crystal Jo is very patient and was very understanding when Luke was being fussy. She allowed us to bring and use our own props but she also had a lot of props and photo ideas already in mind for us!
Alex. Newborn.
This one just CRACKS ME UP!
He was born on the 4th of July!
Adorable family of 4!
Liz. Baby bump.
Gorgeous couple. They aren’t just pretty on the outside, either. Gorgeous couple with the biggest hearts and the best personalities. I adore you both, SO. I’m sure Luke will be just the same!
Here are a few fun facts about these soon to be parents….
Tell us something fun or unique about your relationship.
We love to travel and have been to Europe.
How did you find out you were expecting?
We found out we were expecting on a Wednesday night right before going to a trivia night by taking a pregnancy test. My husband says I was very emotional so he made me take a test!
What’s your favorite thing about being pregnant? Least favorite?
Favorite thing about being pregnant is watching my baby/belly grow and feeling the baby move! Least favorite is not being able to get comfortable at night now that I’m so far along (I will be 35 weeks on Friday).
Did you find out your baby’s gender?
We are having a BOY!
Is there a nursery or shower theme you’d like to share?
Our nursery is Star Wars themed.
A baby is coming! What are you looking forward to the most?
We are looking forward to meeting our baby boy and what he looks like.
How did you find Crystal Jo?
