I just met these two sisters who drove 5 hours for this senior session. They are the beautiful daughter’s of my dear friend, Forsman. I used to work with him years ago at Chase. Then he moved far away. Thank you, Mike, for not forgetting about me. BIG HUGS!

How was your experience with Crystal Jo Foto?
I enjoyed going to Crystal Jo Foto for my senior pictures as she was very bubbly and made it easier for me to do all of her unordinary poses! I loved it and I loved how the pics turned out.
Emma. 2 Months Big.
You guys, just look at this! This outfit was on a teddy bear and it fit little Emma. Emma’s grandfather was in the military. You’ll see his flag and helmet here. It was so very important to dress Emma and represent her grandfather. I love it so.
John Deere baby.
Jaime, Emma’s momma and I met a few years ago at a country concert. We’ve stayed in touch and she’s always told me I would be the one to photograph her babies. I feel so honored, Jaime. And thank you for making the trek down to Columbus from Cleveland. XO, sweet lady!
Fun facts about this little gem…
Emma Donielle Sharer was born June 3rd @ 8:19 am. She was 8 lbs and 20 inches long.
Is there a story behind your baby’s name?
Her middle name, Donielle, is after my dad Donald. He passed in September 2013 and we found out we were pregnant the day after his funeral.
Tell us about that first moment when you saw your baby.
Being she was born via c – section, we didn’t get to see her immediately, but we heard her cries. It was very surreal but brought instant tears to both myself and Russ. Russ was able to go to other side of the room and see her and came back to my head, still teary eyed and said how beautiful she was.. Lol though did mention her cone head from being stuck. She was coming down crooked. The nurses brought her over for him to hold by my head while they finished surgery on me. Just kept kissing her cheek, that was next to me. Once I was able to hold her in the recovery room, I haven’t wanted to put her down, and she is 2 months old. 🙂
Give us the scoop. What has surprised you the most about parenthood?
She has definitely made us both better people. She has brought so much happiness to both families. She has helped with the healing process of losing my dad.
Are there any funny stories or firsts that you’d like to share?
Emma has brought excitement too. Never would have thought we would love someone so much! We have a lot of fun watching her learn how to use her hands and legs… The first time she smiled on purpose at us was heart melting. Then when she started cooing, we couldn’t wait until she did it again. It is funny the silly things we do to get her to smile and coo. She loves exchanging “words” with her daddy.
What did you like best about your experience with Crystal Jo?
The best part of our experience with Crystal Jo is the positive energy that Crystal Jo gives off. You cannot help but smile! Also, the patience with Emma and ability to get her attention and to smile. Plus, she didnt judge me for putting a US Marine Corp’s teddy bear outfit on my baby. 😉

The first time we met was on the dating website OkCupid. We went out a few times, but the timing wasn’t right. Then two years we re-met when Jenny was a guest expert for Jon’s grad school class. Jon was smitten and asked Jenny out later that week.
Jon likes the fact that Jenny is actually a martian. Jenny likes the fact that Jon is a 4th generation animal whisperer. They both like that they can have fun together and make each other laugh.
Our quirky, neurocognitive profiles.
Jenny’s Mom found her! And we are so grateful.
Carly and Gino. Engaged.
They are cute as can be with the greatest selection of clothing. And hair.
Gino doesn’t like to get dirty. Like AT ALL. So laying down on the ground took a lot of teasing and bribing. BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT FOR THIS PHOTOGRAPH, Gino.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this so much…
Carly and Gino adore elephants. They are even incorporating them on their wedding day. So this photo right here was very important to them.
Cuties!
Gino, lay down again, pretty please. OH NO, PLEASE NO. But it will be SO worth it!
Session fave, right here. And it was all their idea.
When and where is your wedding?
It’s May 30, 2015 in Canton, Ohio. The ceremony is at The Canton Woman’s Club, and the reception is at La Pizzaria.
How did you meet?
We met at Otterbein College in Calculus class. We really started hanging out when I started playing ultimate frisbee at the pick-up games on campus. And then he would come visit me at the desk while I was working in the rec center on campus.
Tell us about your proposal!
It was 3 days before my birthday, and I had just finished an evening shift in the ED, that went late, so I got home like an 1.5 hours later than anticipated. I was tired, and looked like crap in scrubs with my hair in a bun on top of my head…well I came home and started going through the mail on my desk and Gino came up behind me, I thought to hug me, and when he wrapped his arms around me he had the ring in his hands.
What’s your favorite thing about your significant other?
Gino is so funny, super supportive, and the best friend anyone could ever want. He is always there for his friends and family in any way they need.
My favorite things about Carly is her intelligence and her ability to have fun and joke around in most situations.
We’re super compatible. We have the same weird sense of humor, and we’ve lived together and traveled together and still want to get married.

Henry in Mommy’s belly..
Henry, newborn.
This face at 3 months. LOVE!
6 Months…
Nine..
And ONE YEAR BIG!
I adore you and your brother, little guy. XO!
Some fun facts about Henry from Momma…
Favorite Memory: Of both boys, it would have to be how sweet Ben was when he first met his baby brother – it was the same day Henry was born – Ben wanted to hold him and kept saying “I love you!” For Henry, it’s mostly just thinking about how sweet and snuggly he is while he nurses.
Funny story: One of the first times Henry stood up and walked was to chase after his brother to try to take his yogurt raisins. Nothing motivates a little brother like the urge to take something from a big brother
Age/Month: I enjoyed the tiny newborn phase more the second time around – in the first 2 weeks he would sleep on my (Mommy’s) chest which was very sweet. We also are enjoying the 12-13 month stage as he walks/toddles and babbles. He’ s very purposeful and it’s funny to see what he tries to do and imitate.
One word: Curious and happy (I know it’s two words but he’s a lot of both)
Animal: our dog Daisy – he tries to play with her and gets tugged all around the room
Food: anything Ben is eating. And Yogurt
Toy: his Lovey – Froggy.
Book: DOG (it’s a book about dogs with flaps/touch and feel spots)
