Big Pink Hearts for the Potokars

Stephanie and Daniel. Married.

What a beautiful couple!

Daniel Potokar was a rising star on the legendary Ohio State University football team when he was diagnosed with cancer in late 2007. Stephanie was by his side has he fought off the cancer and now stands by her healthy and happy husband. They had a beautiful wedding at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Grove City. The bright pink and green colors were just AWESOME. Guests favors included a personalized CD with the couples favorite songs. Of course I had to take one of those! Roberta (my fabulous assistant) and I jam out to their love tunes on our way to weddings. The songs make me smile and think of their lovely day.

I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. Go Bucks!!
Whoa..hello love birds!!

Colburn Wedding

Erin and Mark.  Married.

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for 2 years and boy did it live up to my expectations!  The bride and groom opted to see each other for a first look before the ceremony.  I love this because we have soooo much time to capture AWESOME pictures.  Erin and Mark took us to this historical library in Lithopolis for their portrait session.  OH MY.  I was in HEAVEN.  What a photographers dream!  You really should just scroll down and check out the images…. you’ll see what I mean…

Spaghetti Menetti and her family.

Elizabeth and I have known each other for a LONG time.  We did gymnastics together when we were little!  We had multiple sleepovers and there were many years you didn’t find us apart! Now she’s all grown up with her own adorable little family.

Elizabeth is on the right.  Joining her are her two fabulous sisters.  I can’t believe how tall Chelsea (on the left) is!  I remember when she was just a weee little thing.

Chase is One!

Chase is One Year Old! Woo Hoo!

Remember lil’ Chase chunker butts from 6 months ago? Click HERE to refresh your memory.

I love the smashing of the cake. So much fun. Chase was SO not into getting dirty. Which is great under normal circumstances! We ended up getting a few great shots before Chase took off.

Check’em out.

Sarah & Josh | Engaged

Sarah & Josh.

They live in Indianapolis and are getting married in Troy, Ohio.  Sarah and I have had a couple of phone conversations and numerous emails. She booked her wedding package over the phone. Now, I love decisive people who know what they want! I am one of those people who gets a bit anxious about purchasing something online without fully knowing what I’m getting…know what I mean? Like that kick butt bikini in the Victoria Secrets catalog. The black one that has all the fabulous fabric that drapes the model so nicely. I stare at it for days and just can’t make the purchase because I can’t try it on and touch it. Crazy, I know. Indecisive and silly. I hate it. So, Sarah and Josh…they booked me based on our few conversations and their LOVE for MY work. Um, okay, I love them!

We finally had the pleasure of meeting on this beautiful spring evening at Innis Wood Gardens in Westerville. We hit it off perfectly and it makes me ever so excited to shoot their October wedding.

Clorissa and James | Engaged

The bicycle stork has brought us…

Trevor Jacob Farley!

Trevor has arrived!  Remember Lelia’s maternity shoot?  Well, he is here!  Adorable little fingers and toes.  He even poo’d on daddy’s arm during the shoot.  Lelia and I couldn’t help but laugh.

Love you lil’ Trev!

Here’s the baby bump that has birthed these angels.

Morgan

The magnificent Morgan!

My little sis is turning 16.  And, what does she ask for??  More like BEGGED for…. pictures.

She’s beautiful so it was easy.  We roamed the streets of Pickerington.  We found some unique spots.  I love shooting in different spots.  It’s like throwing fuel into my creative fire.  Roberta joined us for fun.  Funny story.  Before we started the shoot, I met Roberta at the Pickerington Target so she could follow me to pick up Morgan from school.  When Morgan got into my car I said, “Roberta is coming to the photoshoot.  I met her at Target and she’s following us.” .  Oh yes, Morgan my dearest, she thought I actually met this random person at Target and started talking about photography and said, “join us, stranger”.  We had a good laugh about this.  Love you Morgan, your silly thoughts and all!

Here’e the stranger I picked up  at Target 🙂

Lovin’ me some of my seester!
